Cali has been with Valparaiso Animal Hospital since 2003. She does everything from reception to assisting in surgery. Cali enjoys taking care of animals and will treat your pet as if it were her own. Cali has an extrordinary memory for matching people and pet names and phone numbers.
In her spare time, Cali loves camping with her husband Dustin and their daughter Lyla. Their boxer, Jackson, goes with.....He has loads of fun on their annual vacation to the Great Smokey Mountains. Cali also has 2 cats, Jasper and Moses who are great company to their daughter.
Emilia joined VAH in April of 2010. She has a bachelors degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Purdue Univesity, and is considering going back to college to become a veterinarian. Emilia has extensive experience in the veterinary field, having worked as an assistant at various hospitals. She excells at surgical monitoring, nursing of critically injured patients and educating folks on the care of their pets.
Emilia lives in Munster, with her extended family which includes several very special pets. Closest to her heart are "Brown Dog" and "Max"....just ask, and she'll show you pictures  . Emilia doesn't really HAVE any spare time, because when she is not working at Valparaiso Animal Hospital, she can usually be found at her second job... at Calumet Emergency Veterinary Clinic in Scherrerville.
Sally joined our staff when Dr. Butler purchased Valparaiso Animal Hospital in January of 2010. She has been involved in veterinary medicine since 1995, and has special interests in dentistry and behavioural counselling. She and Dr. Butler have been friends and co-workers since the mid-1990's. You might find Sally assisting in surgery, cleaning a pet's teeth, answering a question for a client, or auditing our drug inventory. You name it, Sally can do it!
Sally and her husband Rick live with their pets in Porter. She is very active in her church, an occasional enjoys a night out at the casino.
Teri and Dr. Butler first worked together in 2000. Teri has been in the customer service industry for many years, and joined our staff in September of 2010 as a client care coordinater. She is always happy to hear from you, and will be pleased to help you with any questions or concerns that you may have.
Teri's household includes Bernie (her special sweetie, who takes very good care of her), and "Pee-Wee"(her special pooch, who she takes very good care of)! Teri and Bernie enjoy gardening, home renovating, and escaping for long rides on their motorcycle.
Tonya began working at Valparaiso Animal Hospital in March of 2010....mainly assisting in the care of pets staying in our kennels. Tonya has had many career incarnations (she had a catering business, was a nurse for humans, and worked at the Better Business Bureau). She has always had a great love of animals, and finally "bit the bullet" to make a life in the veterinary field. Tonya graduated from Brown-Mackie College in Michigan City in May of 2011 with an associates degree in Veterniary Technology. Since graduation, Tonya has assumed a much more active role here at VAH...she now assists with medical and surgical care, as well as client relations.
Tonya lives here in Valparaiso, with her 3 loves...Kramer and Capt. Jack Sparrow (her two Schnauzers) and Gracie, their feline companion.
