Overnight Accomodations For Your "Fur-Kids"

Here at Valparaiso Animal Hosipital, we understand how you feel about your pets, and know that the decision to entrust their care to someone while you are away can be stressful.   Who better to look after them than their family doctor?

Valparaiso Animal Hospital offers both overnight boarding and day care in our comfortable, safe and fun facility.  Our guests stay in large, climate controlled accomodations with lots of snuggly bedding. Dogs are walked a minimum of three times daily, and all pets receive lots of one-on-one attention.  On admission,  your baby will be examined by Dr. Butler to ensure that no serious or contagious problems exist.  We feed Hill's Science Diet Sensitive Stomach (or you may provide your own food) and frequent "cookies" --as long as Mom and Dad don't mind!!

Cats and dogs don't always enjoy each others' company.  That is why we provide completely separate areas for each.  This helps to minimize stress in our furry friends, and makes their stays with us much more relaxing.

If your dog stays with us a minimum of 4 days, he or she will also receive a complimentary spa package.  This includes a bath, blow-dry, brush-out and ear cleaning.  We can also provide additional grooming services (such as toe nail trimming, basic hair clipping, etc) upon request.

To ensure the safety and health of all of our guests, we require that all pets be up-to-date on their vaccinations.  For dogs, this means that they must have current rabies, distemper, parvo and bordatella vaccines.  Cats must be current for rabies and "feline distemper" (rhinotracheitis, calici, panleukopenia).  Pets must also have been tested free of intestinal parasites within the last 12 months.  If your pet has a problem with fleas, we will administer medication to rid him of his unwelcome passengers upon admission.
