Dr. Valerie Goetting was born and raised in California. Her parents are originally from Michigan and Illinois, which is why she moved to Indiana to be closer to her family who all now reside in Tennessee. Dr. Goetting attended UC Davis for her bachelors degree in Biological Science as well as her Veterinary degree. She graduated veterinary school in 2014.
Dr. Goetting enjoys digging into a good book and has always loved school since she was a child. She enjoys keeping herself updated with her knowledge in veterinary medicine. She is interested in behavior and finding ways to make her patient's visit less stressful! She is also very interested in feline medicine, ophthalmology, and internal medicine.
When Dr. Goetting was in high school, she raised sheep in her agricultural club and really enjoyed working with them. She was also a swimmer in high school. Her mother bred Shetland Sheep dogs, and she loves the breed. In her free time, she loves to travel and enjoys being in the kitchen whipping up tasty treats! She also loves to do outdoor activities such as; hiking and jogging.
